Local Artist Honors Slain Teen with New Mural

May 12 2021 – BRONX, New York: A local artist who recently painted a mural of DMX in the Bronx has now painted Lesandro “Junior” Guzman-Feliz, the teen who was killed by gang members outside of a bodega three years ago.

Several murals had already been painted in honor of Guzman-Feliz, but the one across the street from where he died was fading away.
The new mural shows Guzman-Feliz in his school uniform.
The artist’s name is Efran Andaluz, he painted Guzman-Feliz at the request of Leandra Feliz, the slain teen’s mother.
The mural will say “Honoring Lesandro ‘Junior’ Guzman-Feliz.”
