May 8, 2021 – Bronx, NY: At the strike of midnight, a large deployment of officers in heavy tactical gear descended on a blacked-out convenience store on the corner of 168th St. and Prospect Ave (1327 Prospect Ave.)
NYPD stated that in a persuant to a Search Warrant, 33-year-old male was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon, Unlicensed Bottle Club, Possession of a Gambling Device, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Promoting Gambling.
Police say that the owner was operating an illegal after hours gambling establishment.
It is unclear what charges if any, were given to other arrestees.
