“Say Her Name” – Ashli Babbitt Memorial in NY

May 6 2021 – HAUPPAUGE, New York: A group of friends and neighbors gathered to show their support to mourn and remember Ashli Babbitt, the Air Force veteran killed by Capitol Police on January 6th.

Babbitt was shot in the neck as she climbed through the smashed door of the Speaker’s Lobby during the siege of the US Capitol.


The group in Hauppauge waved American flags and held signs with the hope of spreading Babbitt’s name.
They held a candlelight vigil and said prayers, one man at the event read a poem for her family.

Event was organized by Huntington Northport Patriots – Sleeping Giant Awoken.
