Group Protests outside Facebook as Trump’s Social Media Ban is Upheld

May 5 2021 – MANHATTAN, New York:
A group of Trump supporters unfurled several large banners in front of Facebook’s Manhattan headquarters around 9am on Wednesday morning in response to their decision to keep the former president banned from the platform.

Two of the Trump supporters expressed why they think it’s unfair that Trump remain off the platform with one woman saying she thinks it’s a fine decision and that Trump doesn’t need Facebook anyway.

The police were called after two of the men apparently went inside the building. They left shortly thereafter saying it was perfectly legal for the banners to be displayed.

Donald J. Trump put out a statement in response to Facebook: “What Facebook, Twitter, and Google have done is a total disgrace and an embarrassment to our Country. Free Speech has been taken away from the President of the United States because the Radical Left Lunatics are afraid of the truth, but the truth will come out anyway, bigger and stronger than ever before. The People of our Country will not stand for it! These corrupt social media companies must pay a political price, and must never again be allowed to destroy and decimate our Electoral Process.”
