Car Crashed into Outdoor Dining in Astoria

April 29 2021 – QUEENS, New York: A car crashed into an outdoor dining setup at 33-20 Ditmars Blvd in Astoria, Queens.
According to FDNY scanners, the driver may have suffered a cardiac incident before the accident, Police sources later stated that it’s incorrect, driver did not suffer an episode.


A total of 4 injuries have been reported and one person is dead. 29 year-old bystander was reportedly killed on the scooter.


Officials said it happened at Rosatoro Restaurant near 35th Street and Ditmars Boulevard at around 7:45 p.m.
One witness said that a woman was driving the black Mercedes and passing the Uber he was in when she appeared to lose control and crash into the outdoor dining.

UPDATE: Cops say a woman driver got angry while driving behind a slow car in Astoria, went around it & crashed into the victim who was on a scooter, then shashing into outdoor dining.
