One Person is Dead after Two People Shot in Manhattan

Wednesday, April 21, 2021, Manhattan, New York –  At around 1:15 am, police responded to a call to Inwood, Manhattan at the corner of West 207 Street and 9th avenue. The event unfolded at the Speedway Gasoline station within the confines of the 34th police precinct.


Upon arrival, the police found an unidentified 30-year-old man with gunshot wounds to the torso. The paramedics arrived to transport the male victim to Saint Barnabas Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

At the gasoline station, where the shooting took place, police also found another victim, this 24-year-old male had suffered a grazed bullet wound to the head. The 24-year-old male had ended up taking himself to BronxCare Health System Hospital where he was treated with little injury.

As of now, there are no arrests made and an investigation by the New York City Police Department is currently ongoing.
