Four men in New York City found carrying a woman’s dead body and putting it in the truck of their car, in the middle of the night, Wednesday.
Four suspects were seen exiting in vicinity of 11-16 Foam Place, around 1:46am, placing the body in the car and driving away.
Cops followed the vehicle and as part of investigation, conducted a car stop in the vicinity of Nassau Expressway and Bayview Avenue, police said.
Upon further investigation, the officers discovered, within the trunk of the vehicle, an woman, unconscious and unresponsive, wrapped in a blanket. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The four males were taken into custody and the investigation remains ongoing.
The incident is MS-13 related, according to PIX11 and law enforcement sources.
NYPD Commissioner Dermot Shea told PIX11 that it’s “an extremely active investigation”,
“Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) New York, working with the NYPD and our law enforcement partners, made several arrests this morning pursuant to a long-term investigation into certain acts of violence in the Queens, New York area. This case is ongoing and there is no further information at this time,” an HSI New York spokesperson told PIX11 News
