Tourist from Kansas, hit by stray bullet near Times Square

April 7 2021 Manhattan, New York – a tourist from Kansas was hit in the shoulder by a stray bullet near Times Square, around 2:20am in the morning.

The 44-year-old man near West 38th Street and Eighth Avenue and was not the intended target, according to the police.

He was taken to Bellevue Hospital and is expected to survive.

According to Dailynews, victim told police that he went to the Mets-Phillies game in Philadelphia and had just gotten back to the city. He was headed to his hotel when he got shot.

No arrests have been made.
