Migrants Continue to Cross Texas Border in search of Asylum

April 7 2021 – LA JOYA, Texas – Crowds of migrants continue to arrive and cross into the US at the Mexican border.
A group was seen in La Joya, Texas, awaiting transport to a detention facility.

This group traveled across the border to turn themselves in. The group arrived at this field around 4 am and were transported away before 9 am.

We were told by multiple sources that arriving migrants are rarely offered covid tests.

April 5 2021 Texas – Hundreds of migrants kept coming through the border into Roma Texas from Central America, some coming from Honduras and Guatemala. Within three hours, about 150 people came across this one spot on the river.

As boats brought the families across the river, Texas Rangers met them and assisted them on the other side. Many children arrived, some appeared to be uncomanied. When a child started crying a female border patrol agent cradled the child to calm it down

Migrants seen in our video are crossing the border in order to turn themselves in and apply for asylum.

On the ground, at both locations, multiple colored bracelets are left after the crowds. Wristbands are reportedly a sign that the person has paid the human traffickers. It appears that they are told to discard of them upon reaching the border.

According to multiple sources on the ground, traffickers charge anywhere from 5,000usd to 8,000usd per person.

Some migrants we spoke to said they were fleeing Central America due to severe economic hardship, searching for a better life for their families.
