April 5 2021 – WHITE PLAINS, New York: Hundreds gathered outside of White Plains Hospital to pray for Earl “DMX” Simmons, who suffered a heart attack on Friday and is now on life support.
Simmons’ fiance and children were at the vigil and could be seen crying and hugging with other family members while fans and others who knew him gathered and paid respect each in their own way. Motorcycle tributes, one painting a smiley face with the bike in the street in front of the hospital, music, dancing and Xs being thrown in the air to honor the rap legend.
