Easter Celebrations Go on Despite Pandemic Cancelations in NYC

April 4 2021 – MANHATTAN, New York:
The annual Easter Bonnet gathering outside of St. Patrick’s Cathedral did not disappoint despite the pandemic. The social event brought a crowd to the steps of the flagship of the Catholic church in NYC.

As mass let out, the crowd filled the sidewalk as photographers snapped and attendees flaunted their fancy dress and outrageous hats.
As the event neared an end, notorious street performer “crackhead Barney” laid on the ground rolling around in fake blood as an Easter Bunny rapped for the crowd.

A Group of dozens in colorful costumes also gathered in Tomkins Square Park to dance, strut, to celebrate Easter and Passover.
