Two Firefighter Seriously Injured In Building Collapse, 4-Alarm Fire

April 3 2021 QUEENS VILLAGE, New York — Two firefighters were trapped in a collapse and seriously injured while they battled a 4-Alarm fire in Queens this Saturday morning.

Huge flames consumed a commercial building on Springfield Boulevard in Queens Village, blaze began around 2:20 a.m.



Firefighters were battling the fire in the back of the building when a collapse happened, trapping two firefighters, according to the FDNY.

The injured firefighters were rescued and taken to a hospital with serious injuries, they are expected to survived.
