65-year-old Asian Women punched and kicked by a male who made anti-Asian statements in Manhattan

March 29, 2021 Manhattan New York – Police is looking for a male in connection to hate crime assault.

At approximately 11 40am, in front of 360 West 43 Street, the 65-year-old female victim was approached by an a male who punched and kicked the victim about the body, causing her to fall to the ground, and made anti-Asian statements toward her. He was heard saying “F**k you, you don’t belong here”. As the woman was getting repeatedly hit and kicked on the ground, the security guard of the building is seen closing the front door.

The individual then proceeded to kick the victim multiple times in the head before fleeing the location. The victim sustained a serious physical injury and was removed by EMS to NYU Langone Hospital in stable condition. The NYPD’s Hate Crime Task Force is investigating.
