March 11 2021 Brooklyn, New York – Victim was badly injured around 12:20 am after multiple shots rang out, at least three. A gun was recovered on the scene. Reportedly a large group that rented out an escape room at 1905 Ave M, between E 19th street and Ocean Avenue.
The escape room is known as Peddler and Parchments Escape Room and was the first Jewish escape room to open in the US.
Police found the victim with gunshot wounds to his chest.
People on the scene say a fight spilled out into the street, the victim was shot outside of the establishment and transported by a Hatzollah ambulance to the hospital in critical condition.
According to police, shooting suspect fled westbound on Avenue M.
A number of people potentially involved in the incident remained on the scene to speak with detectives and officers searched through nearby cars.
Aided transported by EMS to NY Community Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
