March 1 2021 Brooklyn, New York – Housing activist just delivered a letter to senator Kavanagh demanding to #cancelrent.
Letter was left on the door, the way eviction notices are delivered.
As the march continued through Brooklyn, @paperboytheprince was in attendance. Final stop was Senator Schumer house in Prospect Park
The bill they are looking to push would cancel Rent for all tenants, mortgage relief for homeowners, and relief for small landlords. No relief for corporate landlords.
