February 24 2021 – BROOKLYN, New York:
A 4 year-old child was struck and killed by a driver who fled the scene in Williamsburg this morning.
The incident occurred at about 8:30am on S 5th street and Hooper St. The 90th precinct sargeant reported that the child was deceased at the scene.
The child was found unconscious on scene by the arriving emergency workers, injuries are consistent with a car strike. The NYPD collision investigation squad was requested to investigate.
TWU Union rep advised that the school bus overator seen in our video went to the hospital after she came up on the scene of an unconscious child and blocked the crime scene with her bus. There are unconfirmed reports of the child being hit by a car that fled the scene.
