9 people injured, 1 kid in critical condition after a gas explosion in the Bronx

February 18 2021 – BRONX, New York:
A child and one adult are fighting for their lives after a gas explosion blew the doors and windows off of a home in Morris Park, Bronx at around 3:30pm.
9 people including several children in total were injured and in a frightening scene, a door from the building could be seen melted and hanging from powerlines across the street.
Windows blown out and damage to the structure was evident and the buildings department was called in to determine the stability of the home.
The incident occured at 1520 Paulding ave and neighbors said they smelled gas before the explosion.
