Teen saved after falling through ice in Central Park

February 15 2021 – MANHATTAN, New York:
A teenager fell into the water in the Central Park pond near 59th street and 5th Avenue around 2pm today.
Bystanders rushed to help the boy including David McFadden who was standing nearby when he fell in.
He says he got a wooden ladder, “I just gave him one end and was able to pull him out.”
A nearby NYPD Hurcules team was dispatched to the scene and tended to the victim.
Video by another eyewitness, Luciano Bogomolni, shows the boy screaming for help as he’s waist deep in the freezing pond.
