“Love Over Fear” International Action to Free Navalny

February 14 2021 – ROOSEVELT ISLAND, New York:
A small group of Russian-Americans gathered in Southpoint Park to protest the brutal arrests during protests taking place in Russia.
They voiced their support for Alexei Navalny, the Russian opposition leader recently arrested in Moscow, and shone flashlights into the sky in coordination with small groups across the globe.
This is part of an international action taking place throughout the US and the world, and is organized to be a “neighborhood event” where small groups will gather and shine their flashlights into the sky.

Interview with Russian-American activist, Alexander Korzun.
Footage of the group with their flashlights.
Aerial footage of the group in the shape of a heart. And shining lights.
