Illegal Bottle Club in Queens shut down by Sheriffs, Owner arrested after Resisting

January 24 2021 – QUEENS, New York:
Deputy Sheriff’s discovered and shut down an illegal club at 65-25 Roosevelt Avenue in Queens on Saturday night, arresting the operator who resisted arrest and attempted to restrain the deputies.
At 12:30am on January 24, deputies tried to inspect the illegal bar but were met with violence. Upon entry, they observed a large crowd in the basement via security camera, and also discovered fortified egresses, creating a hazard and risk of life in event of a fire or emergency.
FDNY made a forced entry through the fortified doors and sheriffs as well as NYPD discovered 75 people smoking hookah and drinking.
A national grid employee also responded and reported dangerous CO levels being vented into the nightclub space.
The location did not have liquor license, and the owner was placed under arrest, his name is Marco Chacon, 41, of Jamaica Brooklyn.
63 additional patrons face civil penalties of $1000 for participating in a nonessential mass gathering inside an unlicensed establishment.
