Two Injured After Car Crashed into Scaffolding in Midtown Manhattan

January 23 2021 Manhattan, New York – 2 people injured after a car crashed into scaffolding in Midtown at E59th Street and 3rd Avenue this morning just after 7am.
Passengers stated to videographer Daniel Valls, that they were falling asleep, they hit the fire hydrant before crashing into the scaffolding.

Female passenger was treated at the scene, she was not transported to the hospital.

Fire officials also stated that 59 st between third and 2nd Ave. will be closed off for about two to three hours. Department of Buildings has to come and assess the building structure.
