In a parallel rally, members of the Virginia Civilian Defense League staged caravans to drive through the city. The president of the VCDL, Phillip van Cleave said he hopes this year that 2A supporters will win seats in the elections and begin to enact pro-gun laws in VA beginning next year.

The Black Panthers also arrived with a group of armed members and stood in front of the VA state capitol armed with rifles and other weapons.

The Blm757 org that is a faction of BLM rallied In solidarity with New Black Panther Party, Fred Hampton Gun Club, original Black Panthers of VA.

Patriots Food Drive, a non-affiliated group of American citizens, collected canned goods for the needy as different groups came together near the state capitol to rally for 2nd amendment rights.
Several militia groups, the Boogaloo Bois, among others, contributed to the drive, but the organization collecting the goods said they are no organization, just American citizens looking to help those in need.
