Capitol Police officer dies from injuries following Capitol Siege

January 7 2021 Washington DC – A Capitol Police officer was reported to have died today, following injuries sustained during the Capitol Building seige on January 6th. That information was disputed by Capitol Police and the head of the union later on.

It was reported that least 56 more cops were hurt or injured last night. Another 4 people died. 1 woman who was shot dead and 3 others who died from “medical emergency”.

A source said to NewsNation D.C. Bureau reporter Alexandra Limon, that the officer was taken off life support and died after they were hit in the head with a fire extinguisher.

Capitol Police union chair Gus Papathanasiou then saif that the officer has NOT passed away, but was still on life support, until his family can arrive. He and I deeply regret getting ahead of the story.

A source familiar with the matter told NPR’s Carrie Johnson that the DOJ is opening a federal murder case into the death of the officer.

Around midnight, Capitol Police announced the death of USCP Officer Brian D. Sicknick
