Cop shot in Brooklyn, saved by bulletproof vest on Christmas Eve

December 24 2020 – BROOKLYN, New York: A 27 year old police officer was shot in the back on Christmas Eve in Weeksville Brooklyn.

He is in stable condition at Kings County Hospital. The bullet hit the officers vest and did not penetrate the body.

One suspect is in custody after the incident that happened at 1606 Prospect Pl. just before 9:30pm.

According to NYPOST, officer was responding to a domestic dispute call when a gunman opened fire, striking her in the back.
