De Blasio announced “There’s going to be a follow-up, direct home or hotel visit from the sheriff deputy to confirm that they are following the quarantine, or if they are not, they will be penalized.”

Travelers from UK not complying with mandatory quarantine will face $1K fine for every day not in compliance.

All international travelers will receive a city health commissioner’s order to quarantine via certified mail. And they too will face the $1,000 fine.
