Mac’s Public House Reopens in Defiance of State Orders to remain Closed

December 4 2020, STATEN ISLAND New York – Mac’s Public House Reopens once again, defying state’s orders to stay closed, sign on the doors says “No Trespassing”.

Many people showed up to support the bar for the two hours of operation (8 p.m.-10 p.m.).

Neither NYPD nor the Sheriff’s department shutdown their operation though some NYPD vehicles drove by.

The bar closed without issue at 10 p.m. when dozens of patrons flooded onto the street. They said Pledge Of Allegiance and everyone was reminded to not drink and drive and get home safe.

The owner has been fighting to stay open in defiance of Governor Cuomos coronavirus restrictions, and had declared his bar an ‘Autonomous zone’ within Staten Island orange zone of COVID-19 rates.
