Multiple US Marshals Shot in the Bronx , Suspect is dead

December 4 2020 Bronx, New York – Two US Marshalls were injured in a shootout with a suspect in the Wakefield section of the Bronx, New York on Ely Avenue at around 5:30 a.m.

They were rushed to Jacobi Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

One suspect, Andre Sterling, is reported dead.

The Marshals were executing a warrant for a suspect in a connection with a shooting of a state police officer in Massachusetts.

Sterling was wanted for shooting Trooper Lennon on Friday, November 20 around 11:30 p.m. during a traffic stop on Cape Cod. The bullet went through Lennon’s hand and was stopped by his vest.
