Staten Island Bar Shut Down, Owner Arrested, After Declaring ‘Autonomous Zone’

Mac’s Public House on Staten Island was shut down by NYC Sheriff’s tonight after declared the bar “Autonomous Zone”, continuing to serve indoor customers in defiance of COVID-19 restrictions set by governor Cuomo.

In recent days, the bar owner announced that everything will be free and they will be accepting donations.

Tonight, a small crowd of people gathered to protest outside.

According to Scott LoBaido the owner was also charged with a 5,000usd fine.
