Two On-duty Cops Shot, Suspect – a Peace Officer, Killed

November 24 2020 Queens, New York – Two officers shot, Suspect killed near JFK.

They were shot by CUNY peace officer who’s guns were taken away in a previous domestic dispute, but were returned weeks ago.

Officers were taken to Jamaica Hospital and expected to survive. One was bleeding heavily from a wound to his right upper thigh, second officer was shot in both hands.

Video filmed of officers hurt on the svene, by videographer who chose to remain anonymous.

Gunfire erupted while the two officers were responding to a domestic incident involving 41-year-old suspect Rondell Goppy and his wife in their Springfield Gardens home.

The shooter worked security for the City University of New York – peace officer.


NYPD Commissioner Shea, New York City Mayor de Blasio and Pat Lynch, president of PBA were on the scene.
