One Dead After Seven People Shot at ‘Sweet 16’ Party in Brooklyn

Seven people were shot in an apartment during or following a Sweet 16 party at 15 Albany Avenue. One woman was killed.

Mass casualty incident occured on Sunday, November 22, 2020 at approximately 11:17pm.

Cops responded to a 911 call of shots fired at 15 Albany Avenue, in Brooklyn, New York.

Initially they found six people shot inside the apartment. EMS transported the victims, four males and two females, to area hospitals.

An 18-year-old female, was shot in the leg, and transported to Maimonides Hospital in stable condition. a 19-year-old male, was shot in the torso, and transported to NYC Health & Hospitals/Kings County in stable condition. An 18-year-old male, was shot in the leg, and transported to NYC Health & Hospitals/Kings County, in stable condition. 14-year-old female, was shot in the buttocks, and transported to Maimonides Hospital in stable condition. A 16-year-old male, was shot in the torso, and transported to NYC Health & Hospitals/Kings County, in critical condition. A 15-year-old male, was shot in the leg, and transported to Maimonides Hospital in stable condition.

After further they discovered that a 20-year-old female was also shot at the location, in the buttocks, and transported, via private means, to NYC Health & Hospitals/Woodhull, where she was pronounced deceased. There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.
