Cop struck by driver in Midtown, Crashes the car while fleeing

Cop stopped a Mazda in Times Square earlier this afternoon (November 6th), around 12pm. When the officer reached into the car, the suspect sped off.

Police officer sustained a hand injury and the suspect crashed into cars 7 blocks away into two other cars and a food cart.

There appear to be no other injuries.
