Philly Mayor Declares 9pm Curfew, People declare 9pm ‘Dance Party’

Following a second night of unrest, the mayor of Philadelphia Jim Kenney has declared a 9pm curfew for the city.

In response to the declaration, several anonymous groups announced that people should hold a citywide block party, saying “we dance all night in front of the military occupation of Philadelphia.”

On October 27th 2020 (video below) crowds took to the streets to protest the killing of Walter Wallace Jr by the Police. 81 people were arrested.
