Woman pushed onto subway tracks in Times Square, suspect has been arrested

A 28 year-old woman pushed onto Times Square station subway tracks in a baseless assault, this morning (October 23rd)

Police say a woman was awaiting a train on the Times Square N/Q/R platform around 9:40am when an assumed homeless male came up from behind her and pushed her off the platform.

The woman suffered slight injuries to her wrist and was taken to NYU Langone hospital.

Suspect was later placed in custody.
