Man Stabbed to death, Woman arrested in the Bronx

A stab victim laid bloodied on a Bronx sidewalk from a wound in his chest on the early morning of October 11th bystanders circled the man as authorities were called for, as seen in a witnesses video. A nearby woman was taken into custody.

Officers were called and arrived to the scene, at 2837 Valentine Ave at 7 a.m.



A 35-year-old man, was found by officers seriously injured from a puncture to his chest. Officers attempted CPR, as seen in witness phone video, before he was rushed to, but pronounced dead at St. Barnabas Hospital, according to Authorities.

A 39-year-old Marianela Valdez- De Gonzalez, was detained at the scene. She handed over the knife the man was presumably stabbed with, also seen in a witness’ video. According to the NYPD, she was charged with Murder, Manslaughter and Criminal Possession of a Weapon.

Victim was identified as Rider Ferreras, 35-year-old male from the Bronx.
