September 29 2020 – MANHATTAN NY : Group. of activists and houseless people have occupied the front of Governor Cuomo’s Manhattan office to demand that New York State cancels rent, extend eviction moratorium, preserve safe and affordable housing, stop corporate takeover of housing market and tax the rich.
A group, Abolition Park, originally occupied City Hall which was later Evicted. They are now occupying 633 3rd Ave as of yesterday (September 28) naming it “The People’s Living Room”.
Occupation is planned through this Friday.
