September 26 2020 – MANHATTAN, New York:
After police raided Washington Square Park “Celebration of Art Of Protest” and confiscated DJ equipment belonging to Refuse Fascism group, protesters marched to the 6th precinct.
The police charged soon after the protesters arrived on Hudson Street and W 10th street arresting “dozens” according to one protester, and some who were not part of the protest but dining nearby and curious.
They arrested people on the ground in front of the outdoor diners, some of whom were visibly shaken.
The police also appeared to be searching for evidence on the ground.
NYPD confirmed that 12 people were arrested tonight.
