Protest was organized by Breathe, Stand for the People, and Black Lives Matter New York “We have a call to action and would like our demands to be met. We disrupted the George Washington Bridge in hopes that NYC and New Jersey will know how important our issues are and that they cannot continue to be ignored. There has not been one demand met and there must be changes that are approved by the grassroots organizations who represent the community. ” said organizers.

” We peacefully gathered on the George Washington Bridge without causing harm or anyone being hurt or arrested. It was not until we arrived to the 34th precinct were we were met with aggressive use of force while speaking in front of the precinct. The NYPD decided to beat and arrest a few of our protestors, as of now we are all safe. ” added organizer or Stand For The People.
