Man Killed at Queensbridge Houses, Shooter on the Loose

September 8 2020 – QUEENS, New York: On Tuesday September 8, 2020, at approximately 2125 hours police responded to a 911 call of a male shot inside of 40-12 Vernon Boulevard within the confines of 114 Precinct (Queensbridge Houses). Upon arrival, officers discovered an unconscious 23-year-old male in the 3rd floor hallway with a gunshot wound to the abdomen and the buttocks. EMS responded and transported the male to Cornell Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
