BRONX, New York: On Friday, August 28, 2020, at approximately 6pm, police responded to a 911 call of a male shot at Longfellow Avenue and East 173 Street,
27-year-old male was found unconscious and unresponsive with a gun shot wound to the head.
EMS responded and transported the aided male to St. Barnabas Hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
The identification of the deceased is pending family notification.
