August 6 2020 – MANHATTAN, New York: New York Attorney General Letitia James has filed a lawsuit to dissolve the NRA after investigations found that high ranking members including Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre mismanaged funds and broke numerous state and federal laws. She claims the NRAs lobby is so powerful that it’s been left unchecked for years while top members funneled millions into their own pockets. “Today we send a message that nobody is above the law, not even NRA, the most powerful pro-gun organization in the country”
NRA responded to NY lawsuit by filing its OWN 19-page civil suit, which claims, ‘the New York Democratic Party political machine seeks to harass, defund, and dismantle the NRA’
