COVID-19 Check Point has started in Staten Island, New York

August 5 2020 – STATEN ISLAND, New York:
Sheriffs conducted a COVID-19 Quarantine checkpoint on the Staten Island Expressway for vehicles entering New York City today after mayor de Blasio’s announcement that this would begin to take place.
This would include vehicle stops along I278 Eastbound, and a line of sheriffs vehicles were seen on the Staten Island side of the Goethals Bridge.They went along the SIE, It wasn’t like a check point, rather they picked and chose who was gettin pulled over and went behind them.

This checkpoint was to last from 6:30pm until 9:30pm according to an announcement from the City of New York Sheriffs Department.
