Kanye West said on Saturday in a tweet that he is running for president in the 2020 US election. “We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for president of the United States,” said Kanye on Independence Day, using the hashtag #2020vision.
West has an upcoming album, “God’s Country,” and its first single, “Wash Us in the Blood,” was released this week. It does not appears he has not taken any steps to officially run.
