Memorial Day Parade held in Staten Island, NYC

May 25 2020 – STATEN ISLAND, New York: The coronavirus will not stop Staten Islanders from honoring the men and women of the United States Armed Forces. At the annual Memorial Day Parade Congressman Max Rose lead the borough’s vehicle parade, “today is all about remembering our fallen heroes”, he said. New York Assemblywoman Nicole Malliotakis rodw in a blue jeep with a sign, “thanks our veterans and honors the fallen.”

To continue the celebration, the parade committee of the United Staten Island Veterans Organization is doing a little something special to honor our veterans this year. The “Patriotic Convoy” was held today, and in cooperation with Paramount Theatre’s Facebook page, veterans and their families can watch a livestream of the parade from the comfort of their homes.
