Nurses Cheer and Cry as FDNY and NYPD Thank Them Outside of NYU Langone

Nurses were seen crying on Friday (May 1st) in New York City when members of the fire and police departments arrived at a Manhattan hospital to applaud the work of medics in fighting the coronavirus pandemic. Footage showed firefighters and police clapping the doctors and nurses from NYU Langone Hospital campus at 7 pm local time.

Some nurses walked out onto the street to receive the applause and listen to police officers blaring their sirens as a mark of thanks.
