Nurses Protest Management at Jacobi Medical Center

April 17 2020- BRONX, New York: Nurses at Jacobi Medical Center spoke out against a recent change to the medical staff sick policy that requires workers, including doctors and nurses, to provide a doctor’s note each time they call out sick rather than after 3 days.
Nurses called this a slap in the face to change this policy in the middle of an unprecedented crisis.
They also continues to speak out against the lack of PPE, their access to it, and hospital management, who these nurses claim are making their work much harder than it needs to be.
