Nurses Hold Vigil To Mourn Their Own

April 10 2020, 7:30PM – MANHATTAN, New York: A group of nurses held a vigil today outside of Mt. Sinai West for Kious Kelly, the NYC nurse who died of COVID-19. They chose then to honor all health care workers and then all of the victims of the coronavirus, and spelled out “HOPE” and a heart shape with candles on the sidewalk in front of the hospital. Several speakers including Diana Torres, the nurse who spoke out against a lack of PPE at this specific hospital.
