April 06 2020, 7:00pm – ASTORIA, New York: Outside of Mt. Sinai Queens, Firefighters from Ladder 163, Engine 263, Engine 312, and several more gathered on 30th Avenue in front of the hospital to cheer on the health care workers and hospital staff during the “Clap Because We Care” celebration at 7pm on Monday night. They blasted their sirens, cheered, and played New York, New York through the loud speaker as nurses and medical staff stood out in front.
