Men help farebeater, get stabbed, 1 dead

On March 7th around 4:30am two men were stabbed at the Morrison Avenue/Soundview station.
The 25-year-old victim was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The 28 year old was taken to Jacoby Hospital in stable condition.
Suspetx fled on foot and police is still searching.

Nypost reported: “The pair had been entering the station and were stopped by an unknown man who asked them to let him in, cops said.

One of the men popped open the metal gate for the farebeater, who then followed them up to the elevated platform.”
