January 21 2020 – RICHMOND, VIRGINIA:
We came to Richmond Virginia today to film the 2A Gun Rally. Tens of thousands gathered at the State Capitol building to protest laws that limit gun owners rights and access to weapons. They protested Governor Northam and the democratic legislation in the government. Many protesters entered the capitol grounds without weapons while many more surrounded the capitol in groups. Militias from around the country were spotted within the crowds. Various groups representing Infowars, QAnon, Oath Keepers, 3%ers and the Proud Boys were also present. Sheriff Richard Vaughan of Grayson County, VA, also attended Virginia Gun Rally. Governor of Virginia declared state of emergency after threats of violence but the rally remained mostly peaceful with one arrest of a man who reportedly tried to get to a roof of a building.
