Suspicious Devices Outside Astoria Mosque

ASTORIA, Queens — December 15, 2019:

Two suspicious devices with wires sticking out were found outside a mosque on 38th Ave and Crescent St in Astoria around 7am.

Emergency service unit, bomb squad and aviation were operating on the scene. After an investigation, the devices were deemed to be safe and traffic was opened back up.
